Cloud computer

A Linux desktop in the cloud that your agents use. Start, stop, watch, and reset it, and see how many minutes you've used.

The cloud computer is a Linux desktop that your agents use, shared by all your chats. It runs only while it's working, and it keeps its files, installed apps, and sign-ins between runs.

Manage it in Settings → Cloud computer.

Create it

You don't need to set anything up. The cloud computer is created the first time an agent uses it. Until then, Settings → Cloud computer shows Not created yet, with the vCPUs, memory, and disk it will have.

Start and stop it

The Computer section shows its state (Running, Stopped, Paused, Starting…, or Stopping…) and its vCPUs, memory, and disk used.

  • Click Start to turn it on yourself
  • Click Stop to turn it off

A paused computer keeps its windows and resumes in seconds. When nobody uses it for a while, the computer stops itself. The Usage section shows after how many idle minutes.

Watch it live

Under Watch live, click Open to see its screen beside the chat. When the agent needs you, for example to sign in to a site, you can take over. In the Agents layout, Cmd + Option + 7 opens the Cloud computer tab in the agents panel.

Usage

The Usage section shows the minutes used this month and your plan's limit. Minutes count only while the computer is running. Minutes reset each month.

Reset it

To start over with a fresh computer, click Reset. The button changes to Delete everything?. Click it again within a few seconds to confirm. This deletes its disk: files, installed apps, and sign-ins. The next start is a new computer.

Reset appears once the computer has been created.
