Installation
Download Velork Desktop from the download page. Builds are published to alpha, beta, and stable channels — the site surfaces the latest build for your platform.
macOS
- macOS 12 (Monterey) and later
- Native installer (
.dmg) - Apple Silicon and Intel support
Download the .dmg, drag Velork into Applications, and open the app. If macOS blocks launch, approve the app under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Windows
- Windows 10 and later
- Native installer (
.exe)
Run the installer and launch Velork from the Start menu.
Linux
AppImage (portable)
chmod +x Velork-*.AppImage
./Velork-*.AppImage
Debian package
When a .deb is listed on the download page, install it with your system package manager.
Auto-updates
Velork checks for updates automatically. A toast in the bottom-left corner shows progress:
- Download — fetch the update
- Install / Later — apply when ready
Unsigned macOS alpha builds may download as a zip you install manually. Signed builds use the in-app updater.
Velork Capture
The Chrome extension installs separately. Capture copies web UI to your clipboard; you paste into Desktop on the Canvas tab.
