Install Model Context Protocol servers to give Velork Agent access to GitHub, Linear, and custom tools.

MCP servers

MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers extend Agent with structured tools — query GitHub, file Linear issues, fetch docs, or call internal APIs — without leaving chat.

Install and manage servers under Settings → Tools & MCP.

Install a server

  1. Open Settings → Tools & MCP
  2. Pick from the gallery or add a custom configuration
  3. Save and start a new agent session if prompted

Common examples: Context7, Linear, GitHub, plus custom servers you define.

Permissions

When Agent calls an MCP tool, Velork respects your policies:

  • Approve each call — Run Tool (Cmd + Enter)
  • Or allow categories from Settings → Tools & MCP

Autonomous agent mode (Cmd + Shift + A) skips some prompts but honors hard blocks.

Use MCP in chat

Reference tools naturally:

Summarize open pull requests for this repo from the last seven days.

Create a Linear issue for the spacing bug on the pricing card.
