Tasks
The Tasks view is Velork's built-in work tracker. Create tasks, queue Agent runs, connect Slack or Telegram channels, and move work through columns — without leaving Desktop.
Open Tasks from the title bar. The board uses an immersive layout: no design sidebar, chat stays on the right.
Board and list views
Toggle between:
- Board — kanban columns
- List — sortable table with ID, Title, Status, Priority, Due, Agent, Changes, Time, Updated
Columns and filters
Default columns: Backlog, Todo, In Progress, In Review, Done, Canceled, Duplicate. Some columns start hidden — open Hidden columns to show them.
Toolbar filters:
- Status — All, Active, Backlog, etc.
- Space — workspace scope
- Agent — No agent, Queued, Running, Completed, Failed
- Clear filters
Agent automation
Turn on Agent automation on the board toolbar to run queued tasks in the background. When automation is off, use Run with agent on individual cards.
If automation is paused, task activity shows: Automation paused — turn on Agent automation on the board to run.
Create a task
- Open Tasks
- Add a card to Backlog or Todo
- Set Title and Add description…
Write outcomes Agent can verify:
Title: Add pricing section from canvas frame
Description: Implement as React + Tailwind. Match the selected frame. Run typecheck when done.
Task detail
Open a task to edit:

Use Open Task Chat for a task-scoped Agent session. Sub-tasks support Add sub-task, edit, undo, and delete.
Run Agent on a task
- Run with agent — queue or start a run
- Stop agent — cancel in progress
- Open chat — jump to the linked session
- Undo agent / Redo agent — revert agent changes when exposed
- Commit — git commit from the task card, plus More git options
Agent may move the card as work progresses. Tests segments in chat show validation gate results — passed, failed, skipped counts.
Channels
Breadcrumb: {Workspace} → Tasks → Channels
Connect external channels so tasks can be created or notified from chat apps. Open Channels from the board toolbar to Connect, Test, or Disconnect integrations such as Slack and Telegram.
