Task channels

Task channels connect external chat apps to your Velork workspace. Create tasks from Slack or Telegram, or receive notifications when task state changes.

Open Channels

1. Switch to Tasks
2. Click Channels in the board toolbar
3. Breadcrumb: {Workspace} → Tasks → Channels

Connect a channel

On the Channels page:

1. Choose an integration (e.g. Slack, Telegram)
2. Click Connect and follow the auth flow
3. Test the connection
4. Enable Notifications if offered

Status labels include Connected, Connecting, and Missing token when setup is incomplete.

Disconnect

Use Disconnect to remove a channel integration from the workspace.

How channels relate to automation

Agent automation on the task board runs queued work in Desktop. Channels are for bringing work in and notifying stakeholders — they complement rather than replace in-app automation.
