Everything that changed in this update.

Design with your team, live · Encrypted team copy · Invite links

Design together with your team, live. Start chatting on Velork's free credits before you connect your own AI, with a new first run, and a round of chat fixes so long sessions stay fast and Stop really stops.

New

  • Design with your team, live: invite teammates from the canvas Share card ("Design with your team"). Everyone edits the same design from their own desktop, with their own AI, and sees each other's cursors, selections and typing as they happen
  • Encrypted team copy: a teammate who joins later, or opens the design while nobody else is online, still gets the latest version. The server keeps only an end-to-end encrypted copy that Velork can't read; your designs still live in your project folder
  • Invite links: opening a team design link asks where to put the design and opens it, after checking you're signed in and a member of the team
  • Your teammates' AI: a teammate's AI shows as its own cursor ("Sara's AI") that outlines the layers it changes. Click a teammate's face in the toolbar to follow their view; panning or zooming yourself stops following
  • Follow Velork AI: by default the canvas follows your AI while it designs, the way it does on your phone. Pan or zoom to look around, and use the "Follow Velork AI" chip to follow it again
  • Free Velork credits: new accounts can chat right away on Velork's free credits, without connecting a provider first. The balance shows under the composer; when the credits run out, Velork offers to connect your own AI
  • Design with git (optional): in a git repository, design files merge layer by layer through Velork's own merge driver instead of conflicting as whole pages, and branches keep their own live room

Improvements

  • New comments: comment pins, threads and the composer are redesigned and stay in sync with teammates
  • New first run: a "Connect your AI" dialog, the Velork logo animation, a getting-started checklist under an empty chat, and a first chat that starts in design mode with the canvas open
  • Mode in the composer: a labelled chip after + shows which mode a message goes to, and the empty composer says what each mode is for
  • Context meter: one bar shows how full the context window is and what fills it
  • Bigger first window: a new window fills most of the screen, and a fresh install follows your system's light or dark theme
  • AI designs keep what works: when part of a design can't be made (a property a layer can't take, one child layer), the rest is still made, and the AI is told what was left out so it fixes just that
  • Turn usage: the actions menu sits at the end of each reply's usage line

Fixes

  • No freezes while it sits idle: every open chat was saved again once a minute even when nothing had changed, and a long chat froze the window for up to a second each time. Now only chats that changed are saved, without reading the whole file back
  • Messages that send: a message sent right after Stop no longer waits in the queue until you press Enter again; a send that can't start no longer leaves the chat stuck "sending" with every later message only queued; a message sent while another reply is still starting is queued instead of lost; and a slow extension host can no longer hold a send forever
  • Each chat keeps its own work: with chats in different folders, a chat showed another chat's pending file edits above the composer and in Review (where Accept All / Reject All acted on that other chat), Review's git changes came from the window's first folder, and the status bar kept another chat's repository and branch. Each now follows the chat on screen
  • Stop stops everything: Stop and force-send also end commands the AI had moved to the background (a timed-out command, or one waiting for input)
  • Queued messages stay in their chat: switching chats while a queued message waits no longer sends it, or stops a reply, in the chat you switched to
  • Prompts per chat: approving a command only answers the chat you're in, and a waiting prompt in one chat no longer holds up the others
  • Subagents in the right chat: a subagent's card now shows in the chat that started it
  • Fewer runaway screenshot loops: the AI is stopped from taking screenshot after screenshot without acting
  • Memory: closed chats, tabs, menus, file cards, shell cards and the agents panel's parked views no longer stay in memory, so long sessions stay fast
  • Renaming a page keeps its folder, so git no longer sees it as a deleted and a new page
  • Stock image search removed: it only worked with your own Pexels, Pixabay or Unsplash key; the AI generates images instead
