Velork Alpha 0.4.2-alpha

A new Velork logo, SVG that imports exactly as the browser draws it, logo and brand work the way an agency does it, and messages you force through mid-reply that are actually sent.

New

  • New logo: Velork has a new mark, on the app icon and throughout the app
  • Paste any SVG: hand-written, icon-set or Illustrator / Figma / Inkscape SVG lands as editable layers drawn exactly as a browser draws it: groups and every transform, <style> classes, gradients, clip paths and masks, text, images, <use> symbols, opacity, dashes and shadows. Anything it can't draw yet is named instead of silently dropped
  • Text to outlines: the AI can turn a word set in a real typeface into vector letters and reshape them, the way a wordmark is made
  • Brand identity: logo and brand requests follow an agency process: a few directions side by side first, the mark built on a visible grid with optical balance, a wordmark tuned from a real typeface, lockups and color versions as components, a full guidelines deck and mockups made from the real logo files

Improvements

  • Edit SVG artwork in place: the AI redraws an SVG layer without deleting it (same layer, place and size), and can move or animate its named parts
  • Scale components: a placed component (a logo, a badge) can be scaled up or down and keeps it when the component changes
  • Mockups from your files: image generation finds the logo files the AI exported, so mockups show the real mark

Fixes

  • Force a message through: sending a queued message while the AI works stops it and sends yours, even while it's asking a question, waiting on a permission prompt or running a long tool, instead of waiting for it to finish
  • Stopping a reply: stopping releases everything the reply was waiting on, so the next message starts right away
  • No repeated work after a stop: steps that finished just as you stopped are remembered, so the AI doesn't redo them
  • Windows: the app and installer are signed again, so company security filters no longer block Velork
  • Closing a chat tab: closing a tab only takes it off the row; the chat stays in the chats list and its search instead of being archived, and opening it again brings its tab back
  • Archived chats in place: with the Archived filter on, archived chats sort with the rest instead of all at the bottom
  • Browser right-click menu: the menu opens where you click (it was pushed right and down), and Inspect picks the element under the cursor
  • Security: the app's local debug server only listens on your own computer
  • Layer search: searching layers with a pattern works however the pattern is given
