Switching the model or the AI provider in the middle of a chat keeps the conversation: the AI remembers everything said before.
Fixes
- Model switch keeps the chat: picking another Claude model mid-chat (Sonnet to Opus, or back) no longer starts the AI over with no memory of the conversation
- Provider switch keeps the chat: when a chat moves to another provider and comes back to Claude or Cursor, the AI is told what was said and done meanwhile
- Chats remember after a restart: a Claude chat goes on in its own session after Velork restarts, with the whole conversation, instead of a shortened summary of it
- No lost turn after a restart: the first message after changing effort, thinking or the model is no longer cut off with "Query closed before response received"
